1July 28th, 2012 - On Saturday evening the finale for the $25,000-To-Win, 2nd Annual World Modified Dirt Track Championship was held at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota). Via his point's total from his qualifying night performances, Culp started eighth in the D-main. With the top six finishers transferring to the tail of the C-Main, Timothy advanced to a fifth place finish. As a result he started twenty-third on the grid for the C-Main, but would see his night come to an end there as he was only able to manage a sixteenth place finish. July 27th, 2012 - Timothy looked to improve his point's total on Friday night in preliminary action for 1the 2nd Annual World Modified Dirt Track Championship at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota). He started the night by qualifying second fastest in his group, and with the top six cars inverted for heat race action he started in the fifth position. He would advanced to a fourth place finish in his heat, which left him short of locking into the feature event. He started fifth in the third b-main, and with the top five finishers moving onto the feature he would finish in sixth as he missed the starting grid by one spot for the second straight night. July 26th, 2012 - Timothy made just his second start of the year in an Open Wheel Modified, and he did it against a talented field of competitors as he entered a preliminary night for the $25,000-to-win, 2nd Annual World Modified Dirt Track Championship on Thursday night. Fifty competitors registered for battle, and the night appeared to start well for Culp, who qualified fourth fastest in his group. However, he was disqualified for not having a required chip in his engine. As a result he started ninth in his heat race before advancing to a sixth place finish. His finish left him short of qualifying for the preliminary feature, but positioned him starting fourth in a b-main. With the top seven cars transferrring to the feature, Timothy slipped to an eighth place finish, which brought his night to an early end. He will try again on Friday evening. July 21st, 2012 - With the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) nixed by rain, the team traveled to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night for a $2,500-to-win event. Twenty-six cars entered the event, and despite a rough and tumble heat race Culp was able to lock into the fifteenth starting spot for the main event. During the course of the 50 lapper Timothy would pass nine cars on his way to a sixth place finish at the checkered flag. Full results from the event are available at www.SUPRRacing.com.

1July 7th, 2012 - After a week away from the track Timothy returned to action over the weekend at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) with the annual Clash at the Mag, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Fifty Super Late Models entered the event, and Timothy found himself behind the eight ball in time trials on Friday night after qualifying twentieth fastest in his group, which left him starting tenth in the fourth heat race. With the top four cars moving onto the feature from heat race action Culp advanced to a seventh place finish, which positioned him starting sixth in a b-main on Saturday evening. In the b-main he raced to a fourth place finish, but with only the top three cars transferring to the 100 lap finale, his weekend would come to a disappointing, early end.
