June 24th, 2017 - On Friday night Timothy Culp hopped behind the wheel the Terry Beckham owned #5A Open Wheel Modified for the All Star Racing Series sanctioned contest at Plumerville Super Speedway (Plumerville, Arkansas). Moving up five spots in his heat race, Culp landed a 2nd place finish locking him 6th-starting position for the feature. With $1,500 on the line, Timothy held his spot on the track that saw very limited passing, registering a 6th place finish.

June 17th, 2017 - Timothy Culp returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Saturday night for the annual Clash at the Mag at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). Drawing 40 entries for the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Timothy dropped back to a 9th place outing in his heat race sending him into the B-Main for one last shot at the feature. Transferring the Top 3, Culp logged an 8th place outing bringing an early end to his night.

June 10th, 2017 - Kicking off the 23rd annual Dirt Late Model Dream, Timothy Culp invaded Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday evening for the UMP DIRTcar sanctioned weekend. In a field of 79 Super Late Models, Culp fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat race with a 6th place finish. Rolling off on the pole of his B-Main, Timothy cruised to 12-lap consolation win locking him into the 21st-starting spot for the opening night feature. With $5,000 on the line, Culp moved up two positions to place 19th.

On Friday night after laying down the eleventh fastest time overall in qualifying, Culp charged to a 10-lap heat race win locking him into the 5th-starting spot for the final preliminary feature. Battling for a $10,000 payday, Timothy came up one position short of a Top 10 finish with a 11th place outing.

Closing out the 23rd edition of the Dirt Late Model Dream on Saturday, Timothy Culp was leading his heat race until he suffered mechanical issues on the final lap. With the winner of the heat earning the pole position for the $100,000-to-win finale, Culp suffered a broken rear end, ending his bid into his first ever Dirt Late Model Dream.
