1July 13th, 2013 - Timothy opened a doubleheader weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Friday night in his #c8 Bennings Heat & Air/Barry Wright Super Late Model at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois). With 33 competitors entered struggles in time trials left Culp starting deep in his heat race grid. He advanced to a 5th place finish in his heat race, which left him one spot short of transferring to the feature. As a result he was forced to run a b-main, where he finished 2nd to lock into the 20th starting spot for the 50 lap, $10,000-to-win feature. After failing to make up much ground early in the feature he retired to a 20th place finish.

Saturday night took the team to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the second time this season as he went into battle in the 7th Annual Diamond Nationals, which was co-sanctioned by the LOLMDS and the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series. The night started on a strong note as Culp qualified 3rd fastest in his group, and was running 3rd in his heat race, when the left-rear chain broke forcing him pitside. As a result he would start on the tail of a b-main, and advanced to a 4th place finish. However with only the top three finishers moving onto the feature his night came to a disappointing, early end.
