1June 28th, 2014 - After a weekend away from the track, Timothy Culp began a busy weekend with the UMP Summer Nationals tour on Wednesday night at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee). Thirty Super Late Model registered for battled, and Timothy qualified third in his respective group during time trials. In heat race action he battled to a fourth place finish, earning him the tenth starting spot in the $5,000-to-win finale. During the course of the feature Culp advanced to an eighth place finish at the checkered flag.

On Thursday evening another $5,000-to-win program was contested at Clayhill Motorsports Park (Atwood, Tennessee). Culp timed in second fastest in his group during qualifications among the twenty-one entries, and went on to win his heat race over Billy Moyer Jr. to earn the pole position for the finale. Timothy assumed the point at the drop of the green flag, and began set a healthy advantage over the field. Unfortunately, a broken water pump early in the race would set the stage for heartbreak at the end. Culp appeared to have the field covered until his engine began visibly faltering on the 34th lap, allowing Brian Shirley to sneak past. Culp limped his #C8 Bob Pierce Race Cars Super Late Model the rest of the way to a sixth place finish in the final rundown.

After Friday night's program at Paducah International Raceway was nixed by rain, the weekend came to a close on Saturday evening at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri). A $10,000 winner's checkered was posted as thirty-eight competitors were set to do battle. Heat race action saw Timothy finishing fifth, leaving him just one spot short of a transfer position. As a results he would have to run a b-main where he would finish third, but only the top two advanced to the 40 lap finale as his night came to an early end.

1June 14th, 2014 - Timothy Culp made the trek to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) over the weekend for the annual Clash at the Mag event. The event, sanctioned by the ultra-competitve Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), drew a talent-laden field of forty-four Super Late Models to the gumbo oval.

In Friday night's preliminary action, Timothy locked in the fourth starting spot for his heat race after a solid qualifying effort. He advanced to a third place finish, which earned him the eleventh starting position on the grid for Saturday night's $20,000-to-win finale. During the course of the 100 lap main event, Culp charged his way to fifth place finish behind race winner Don O'Neal, Jimmy Owens, Earl Pearson Jr., and Scott Bloomquist.

June 7th, 2014 - After the 4th Annual Rockabilly 45 doubleheader at Northeast Arkansas Speedway was washed away by rain, Timothy made a trip to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi).

1The Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned the $2,500-to-win program, as thirty-four Super Late Model converged on the 1/4 mile oval. Qualifications saw Culp timing in third in his group to earn a starting spot in the dash. A fifth place finish in the dash position him starting fifth on the grid for the 50 lap finale. During the course of the main event Culp edged his way forward, and into the top three as the field neared the halfway point. On lap 23 Culp assumed the point from early leader Neil Baggett, as seventh starting Bub McCool moved into second.

Heavy traffic would slow Culp enough for McCool to close on his back bumper. The duo waged a fierce battle for the top spot before McCool prevailed with eight laps to go. A slight falter by McCool on lap 44 sent him into the path of a lap car, breaking his momentum and allowing Culp to gain ground. A final brush with the turn three wall as white flag was displayed would not be enough for Culp to make a bid for the lead. McCool saw the checkers first as Culp settled in second. The pair was followed across the finish line by Brian Rickman, Rick Rickman, and Dane Dacus.
